The following dates must be reserved for the 2025 minimum holiday camping stays:
● Check out time: 3pm Monday-Saturday
● Memorial Day: (Fri/Sat/Sun) nights
● Independence Day: (Fri/Sat/Sun) nights
● Labor Day: (Fri/Sat/Sun) nights of September
● Set-Up may begin after check out time on the first day and the site
must be clear by check out on the last day, except Sunday or Monday of a holiday weekend, when you may stay until 4 p.m. Campers are requested to renew sites by 10 a.m. Campgrounds are closed at 11 p.m., and no set-up of campsites may occur after midnight. Generators or other similar equipment which produce noise may only be operated from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Developed Campsites/Recreation Areas
● Fees are required in season (generally mid-April through mid- to late-October)
● No more than 8 people may use a single campsite, no more than 16 for a
double campsite.
● Dogs must be on a leash six feet or less and are not allowed at beaches.
● Quiet hours are in effect 11:00 P.M. – 7:00 A.M.
● All vehicles and camping equipment must be placed on a hardened surface.
● Not more than two transportation vehicles may be parked at the site in addition to a camping vehicle (RV, pop-up, etc.) and boat. More than two tents, bicycles, and motorcycles are allowed if they fit reasonably on the hardened surfaces. Additional fees may apply.
● Fire rings must be used for campfires. All fires must be in provided rings, with wood that fits within it.
● The following are prohibited: (a)Carelessly or negligently throwing or placing any ignited substance or other substance that may cause a fire. (b)Firing any tracer bullet or incendiary ammunition. (c) Causing timber, trees, slash, brush or grass to burn except as authorized by permit. (d)Leaving a fire without completely extinguishing it. (e)Causing and failing to maintain control of a fire that is not a prescribed fire that damages the National Forest System. (f) Building, attending, maintaining, or using a campfire without removing all flammable material from around the campfire adequate to prevent its
● Age of campers: At least one person at the campsite must be 18 years old. The responsible party registering for the campsite shall remain at the site for the entire stay.
● Visitors To your site: Day visitors are welcome. They must park in designated areas

● Day use areas are closed between 11 PM and 6 AM. Camp store hours are between 9am-7pm daily.
● During the off-season, some portions of recreation areas may be gated. Pedestrians may enter these areas for the purpose of walking, picnicking, or fishing. Pedestrians must obey restrictive posted signs throughout forestry & campsite areas.
● No unauthorized motorized vehicles allowed within forestry area. Golf carts are only allowed within campground areas.
● Littering, including cigarette butts on campgrounds or trails, Birch Creek Venue & Lodging will impose a $50.00 fine per incident. Smoking is only permitted within campsite areas and designated areas. Please dispose of the butts properly.
● Swimming in ponds is strictly prohibited. If this rule is violated, Birch Creek Venue & Lodging reserves the right to request campers to vacate our premises without a refund.
Campfires and Firewood
● Any firewood brought onto National Forest System land must meet one of the following requirements to reduce the spread of pests and pathogens that harm the forest ecosystem.
1. It is kiln-dried scrap lumber with no bark.
2. It is purchased on-site.
3. It is from your home or other Indiana location and has all bark removed. 4. It has an Indiana DNR compliance stamp.
● Collecting firewood or cutting down standing trees is not permitted
● Use a fire ring or grill if one is provided. Firewood must fit within the fire ring.
Collecting
● Mushroom & ginseng hunting is strictly prohibited. If this rule is violated, Birch Creek Venue & Lodging reserves the right to request campers to vacate our premises without a refund.
● Small leaf collections are allowed.
● Mineral collecting, such as low-impact gold panning or gathering small numbers of geodes is strictly prohibited. If this rule is violated, Birch Creek

Venue & Lodging reserves the right to request campers to vacate our premises without a refund.
● Metal detecting is strictly prohibited. If this rule is violated, Birch Creek Venue & Lodging reserves the right to request campers to vacate our premises without a refund.
● Possessing, storing or transporting any part of a tree or other plant in violation of existing state or federal law is prohibited.
Trail Use
● Bicycle riders or hiking must stay on trails specifically designated for bicycle or hiking use.
● Hikers may hike anywhere except where an area is posted closed. Shortcutting a switchback on any designated trail is prohibited.
● Off road vehicles are not allowed within Birch Creek Venue & Lodging property.
Hunting, Trapping, Fishing & Firearms
● Hunting is strictly prohibited. If this rule is violated, Birch Creek Venue & Lodging reserves the right to request campers to vacate our premises without a refund.
● Discharging a firearm (including a bow and arrow) is prohibited in or within Birch Creek & Venue property and recreation sites (including trails), a residence, or any place where people are likely to be. If this rule is violated, Birch Creek Venue & Lodging reserves the right to request campers to vacate our premises without a refund.
● Paintball is prohibited. If this rule is violated, Birch Creek Venue & Lodging reserves the right to request campers to vacate our premises without a refund.
Fireworks
● Possessing, discharging or using any kind of firework or other pyrotechnic device is prohibited. If this rule is violated, Birch Creek Venue & Lodging reserves the right to request campers to vacate our premises without a refund.

Business Activities
● Selling merchandise or services, posting or distributing any information, or conducting meetings or events requires a rental agreement within one of our venue options.
Disorderly conduct and camping etiquette.
● The following are prohibited: (a) Engaging in fighting. (b)Addressing any offensive, derisive, or annoying communication to any other person who is lawfully present when such communication has a direct tendency to cause acts of violence by the person to whom, individually, the remark is addressed. (c) Make statements or other actions directed toward inciting or producing imminent lawless action and likely to incite or produce such action. (d)Causing public inconvenience, annoyance, or alarm by making unreasonably loud noise,
● Do your part to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable camping experience.
● Tables: Each site is outfitted with one picnic table. Borrowing tables from other sites is not allowed and creates discord when they must be retrieved for the site from which they were taken.
● Vehicles: Reducing congestion and visitor safety are the reasons for the "one mode of transportation per site" rule.
● Alcohol: Daily visitors and campers are asked to be responsible when consuming alcohol. Possession of alcohol by persons under the age of 21 is against the law in Indiana; and this will be enforced.
● Quiet Hours: are from 11 p.m. until 7 a.m. At night, voices carry so moderation is essential.
● Check-out time: is 3p.m. Monday through Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday and holidays.
● Nails and wires: for suspending lanterns and patio lights can cause serious damage to trees. Burn damage permanently scars or kills trees.

• You understand that Birch Creek Venue & Lodging is generously offering complimentary camping for Friday and Saturday nights for registered families attending the event.


• Any additional camping fees for extended stays beyond the complimentary nights are payable at the time of arrival during check-in.


• You consent to pay any and all applicable fees for the selected camping accommodation, including but not limited to RV camping, primitive camping with electric access, and primitive camping without electric.


• Failure to pay the required camping fees upon arrival may result in the cancellation of your camping reservation and forfeiture of your accommodation.


• You understand that camping availability is limited and is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration does not guarantee a camping spot, and fees must be paid in full to secure your accommodation.
